Jameson standing in front of the Royal Palace of AmsterdamMy program in Amsterdam was a life-changing experience for me! I had never been on a plane or out of the country. Studying abroad through MSU gave me the opportunity to do both while earning credits. MSU's flat rate tuition even allowed me to take a couple classes at home asynchronous before my program as well. And I was able to complete my LGBTQ & Sexuality Studies Minor in one summer!

Being part of a faculty-led program, I was able to enjoy a combination of planned group excursions and meals with my fellow Spartans and faculty advisors. I also had the opportunity for local fare and free time to spend with new friends.

Living and studying in Amsterdam pushed my personal boundaries more than I ever thought possible, including navigating the subway system to get to the University of Amsterdam campus and living in my own studio apartment! I attended amazing classes and lectures, visited world-class museums, sampled fabulous local cuisine, and took additional daytrips planned on our own via train. I made new friendships and memories to last a lifetime!
