No regrets

I think that studying abroad helped me be more independent and I think that I had learned some things that I wouldn’t here.

Photo of ancient stone stepsI just want to say again thank you for accepting me for this great opportunity, I had so much fun studying in Northern Ireland, the whole country was beautiful, and I had such an amazing time. The people were so nice and hospitable and showed us around.

I went around the country and saw some things; one classmate we met took us to a mountain in Newcastle and we went hiking. The second week there we had a school trip to a challenge room where we had to complete challenges, either physical or mental, and it was so fun. My fiancé also came over when the Christmas market was going on so we went there to look around and got some stuff while i was there. The weekend before I left me and the other MSU students went to Giant's Causeway, it was so amazing I would love to go again.

The classes were also different than what we have here, they didn’t really have any exams. The classes that did have an exam only had one at the end of the semester. Most of it was hands-on learning. Photo of the cliffs at Giant's Causeway

I do not regret going and had so much fun. I think that studying abroad helped me be more independent and I think that I had learned some things that I wouldn’t here. I learned the different way that they say things, they speak English but have different name for different things. I did not think that I would have as much fun as I did, and I thought that I would be more homesick than I was.

Overall, I had such an amazing time and would go again to visit the people that I had met.
